The snooker room houses two excellent tables for which the charge to play is 20 pence for 16 minutes. Any member wishing to play should put their name on the chalkboard provided for the purpose. A notice in the snooker room sets out the general rules and etiquette of the snooker section and all members are asked to comply with these. Most evenings are fairly quiet except Friday but on Monday evening one table is sometimes reserved for teams playing in the Liberal League and on Thursday evening one table for the Open League teams. In addition Veterans teams (aged 60 +) play on Monday afternoons. The snooker leagues mentioned usually operate from September to April each autumn/winter.

In the first 6 months of 2004 the snooker room was upgraded by the addition of a suspended ceiling, complete re-wiring, new lights over the tables, new carpet, re-decoration and finally new seating making it one of the best snooker rooms in the district
